Admission Timeline for Fall Applicants 2008

Month Year Detail   2008 Download AADSAS application from American Dental Education Association (ADEA) website Spring 2008 Begin requesting letters of evaluation: one from a pre-health professions committee or three from individual professors (at least 2 from Science professors) and one from a dentist 2008 Prepare personal statement for AADSAS application Summer 2008 Shadow a dentist June 2008 AADSAS begins processing applications (allow 3-4 weeks) Supplemental applications may be downloaded Sept. 2008 Interviews begin Oct. 2008 Take Dental Admissions Test no later than this date Dec. 2008 First round of letters of acceptance mailed to qualified candidates For status of application, please check ADEA website Feb. 2009 UNLV Application deadline to submit AADSAS and supporting documentation Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) priority date Sept. 2009 Classes begin
