Emergency Care

Patients who are being treated at either of the facilities for comprehensive care are provided 24 hour emergency care through the UNLV School of Dental Medicine. Call the main UNLV School of Dental Medicine phone number at 774-2400 and you will be given further directions.

Patients who are not regular clinic patients but are experiencing dental pain, swelling, or bleeding may receive limited treatment for their emergency by contacting the Shadow Lane location at 774-2457 or the Enterprise location at 648-7231. If further treatment is necessary after the emergency visit, the patient may obtain a screening appointment as previously discussed, or may be directed to seek care in the private sector.

The UNLV School of Dental Medicine is not obligated to provide continued treatment after rendering emergency care.
